In a few days, the awards ceremony for the Loyalty & Engagement Awards 2018 will be held on 13 July 2018, at the Shangri-La Hotel! And guess what? Advocado has been nominated for several categories!
Introduced in 2013, the Loyalty & Engagement Awards supports Marketing magazine’s mission of elevating marketing standards and practices in the region. Back for its sixth edition, the regional premier awards is the only award in Asia Pacific to recognise and honour excellence in customer loyalty and engagement.

While being so nervous to find out if we have won any awards, we can't help but to think of 2017. Last year was a memorable year for Advocado. Winning 2 awards in just its first year? It was an insane, motivational boost for all! Here goes…

Spark Awards is the recognised regional premier programme that celebrates the best media solutions, products and services.
The awards are the main platform for media owners and solution providers in every vertical to showcase their innovation, effectiveness, and value proposition to advertisers, agencies and clients. Winners of the Spark Awards 2017 serve as a powerful benchmark for trustworthy and effective partners in the region.
Advocado, then a one-year-old start up, clinched 2 out of 3 regional nominated Tech & Media awards. Alongside big contenders (and winners) like Ooh Media, Mediacorp and BBC, Advocado was awarded Most Innovative Technology (Gold) & Best Commercial Team (Bronze). Much joy and excitement was in the air when announcements were made.

Even just being nominated for any category was an honour to Advocado. What more winning awards in just its first year? The nominations alone gave Advocado the confidence and trust that cloud loyalty is a booming and innovative technology - Offering a glimpse into the future of improving customer retention.
Props to Advocado’s founders (Eric Chia, CEO & Joval Gan, CRO) who saw the potential, and dove right into it even with countless risks involved. Of course, not forgetting Ron Lee, Advocado’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), who also jumped into Advocado, not knowing its success rate.

Advocado started in 2016. And in just one year, more than 400 merchants signed up with Advocado to change the face of customer loyalty for their businesses - Mainly in Singapore, Thailand, Philippines & Malaysia. A booming first year it was!
Fast forward to today - 2018. Over 300 additional merchants partnered with Advocado in just 6 months, bringing the total to more than 700 merchants as of now. AND, Advocado has expanded to Hong Kong and Vietnam too! Impressive, isn’t it? Of course, this growth hasn’t come to a stop. Huge credits to the Advocado team who has always been giving their best in the relentless pursuit of success, & the lovely merchants who have trusted Advocado with their loyalty & CRM program!
